Product overview

The Thermalert TX infrared temperature sensor has a remote addressing function and can be easily installed in a multi-point configuration.

The TX series smart sensors use the HART (Highway Addressable Remote Sensor) protocol and communicate through a simple loop-powered 2-wire cable. This signal combines the industry standard 4-20 mA output with synchronous digital communication. They include Raytek DataTemp® Multidrop software, which provides an easy-to-use interface for configuration and monitoring. The temperature can be archived or exported to other applications for analysis and process recording.

Smart TX sensor has remotely adjustable temperature and output sub-range, adjustable emissivity, ambient temperature check and user-defined alarm output. Provides average and advanced peak/valley hold algorithms to accurately measure complex discrete processes.
